1941 Dodge D19 Business Coupe

Frame-off restoration

$23,500 / best offer

Up for sale is this rare 1941 Dodge 3-window coupe. The car was restored by George Carney in the 80's, it comes with $33,000 (80's era dollars!) of restoration receipts. A cold start and driving video is available to view at https://youtu.be/RylBaiz49Rg

There's over 100 photos to view below, look for my descriptions alongside them.

The car is located in Portland Oregon and has a clean and clear title. I've been a licensed and bonded dealer in the State of Oregon for 24 years.

The car was taken down to metal and repainted in its original color of Flare Red. The body was off the frame with all glass out and all trim removed. Very straight body panels with good sightlines and no rust.

Firestone Deluxe Champions were just mounted and have about 50 miles on them.

All chrome is good except for one spot of flaking in the center of the front bumper.

All of the glass was replaced during the restoration and is crystal clear.

The pre-war 3-window mopars have a great look.

Some cracks in the paint here.

Some light paint crazing on the trunk lid if you look closely, doesn't appear in the photos.

The interior was completely redone using correct materials.

All of the gauges work except for the fuel gauge.

Nice attention to detail everywhere you look.

The car starts easily and runs out great, make sure to watch the driving video. In preparation for the sale I changed the oil and flushed the coolant.

Clean and solid undercarriage with no rust.

Receipts from the restoration.
